Baking with Isabella: Palmier Cookies!
How sweet are these crispy little French cookies? They have been a family favorite for years and we are excited to show you how to make them at home. We've come up with a quick and easy recipe, ideal for kids (with the help of a parent) that will satisfy any sweet tooth! Check out Isabella's demo video for how to make homemade Puff Pastry dough... If a seven-year-old can do it, so can you! : )
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry dough
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Cup of Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Grab puff pastry dough from fridge.
- Roll dough with rolling pin until it is consistently 1/4" thick.
- Mix Salt, Cinnamon, and Sugar and spread mixture onto dough.
- Roll dough in from two opposite sides so they meet in the middle.
- Cut cookies about 1/2" thick each and place on greased baking sheet.
- Bake cookies for 6 minutes until crispy, golden brown.
- Flip cookies over and bake for another 3-4 minutes.
- Let cookies cool down completely before enjoying!
