Isabella's Raisin Energy Balls

My daughter Isabella and her friend Marianna show us how easy it is to make delicious and nutritious Raisin Energy Balls with wholesome Chia Seeds and Shredded Coconut. As you can see in the film below, they had a blast working together to make "one of our favorite snacks ever!"

What if your next kid playdate included a fun and easy recipe? We didn't even have to visit the grocery store to get ingredients... use what you have!

Let us know how you got creative when making and naming these yummy, portable little snacks. Enjoy!


  • 2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds mixed with 2 Tablespoons Water (let it absorb for a couple minutes)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Flax Seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Prunes and 1/4 Cup Raisins (mix together in Food Processor)
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Shredded Coconut for topping (Optional)
  • Walnuts for topping (Optional)


  1. Mix all Ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Roll into balls.
  3. Roll balls in Walnuts, Chia Seeds, Shredded Coconut or your favorite topping.
  4. Enjoy!
