Here is a great and easy recipe to make a tasty homemade marinara sauce. This recipe is beyond versatile and can be used on your favorite pasta, dip for bread, as a pizza sauce, and so much more. The recipe is so easy any kid can make it! Check out Benji making and tasting one of his favorites!

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 Cup of Peeled Tomatoes (San Marzano)
  • 1/4 Diced Onion
  • 3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Basil
  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Instructions:
  2. Start by adding olive oil to pan and wait for it to get hot.
  3. Add onion and garlic to pan and sauté.
  4. In a blender add peeled tomatoes, paste, parsley, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Blend and add to pan.
  5. Sauté for an additional 4-5 minutes. Marinara Ready!
  6. Add it to pasta, chicken parmigiana, minestrone, ratatouille, pizza, shakshuka, or use it as a dipping sauce and so many other recipes.
