I'll let you in on a little secret - The gourmet butter that welcomes you at the table at a fancy restaurant is super easy and fun to make at home. Impress your friends as you customize the flavors - Make them sweet, salty, savory, herby. Feel free to go wild and combine a couple flavors - you can have it all! My absolute favorites that marry well with literally hundreds of recipes are; Garlic, Dill, Cumin, and Smoked Paprika and Chili Powder. Crack off a warm chunk of baguette and savor your gourmet butters... Love love love.


  • 2 Sticks of Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika / Chili Powder combo
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dill
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic (2 cloves minced)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2-3 inch squares of parchment paper


  1. Cut Butter sticks in half and fold in herbs and spices with a fork.
  2. Add salt and fold more so butter is well-mixed.
  3. Roll butter in a ball and place parchment paper on top. Squish down with hand and make fork marks in top for an extra fancy presentation.
