5 Star Nutrition Bars

These homemade dried fruit bars are easy to make and packed with vitamins, minerals, good fats to keep you going during the day, and convenient to take with you. My kids and all my friends love these bars. I seem to always take a few to go when I am running out the door with the kids during rushed mornings. They also make for delicious anytime snacks or as a dessert for the entire family. In fact, after I put the kids to bed, I love to enjoy one of these bars with a cup of tea. I have many yummy and rich dessert recipes but it is always a challenge to provide a sweet AND nutritious option. Not anymore ; )
